Introduction
Cyber and Product Security at United Machining Solutions
The security of our products and services is very important to us – and an integral part of our quality promise. We do not see cybersecurity as a one-time measure, but as a continuous principle across the entire lifecycle of our products.
The requirements of the relevant regulations on digital resilience – including the EU Machinery Regulation (MVO), the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the NIS 2 Directive – are continuously incorporated into our products and processes. This ensures that our solutions comply with current and upcoming legal requirements and that you can rely on a high, verifiable level of security.
Our Commitment
Vulnerability Handling Policy
United Machining Solutions operates a Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure approach for all products with digital elements, aligned with the relevant regulations on digital resilience.
Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure
Our Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) receives, reviews and handles reported vulnerabilities confidentially. We work together with the reporter and, where required, with the relevant authorities to assess each report, develop appropriate remediation, and coordinate disclosure responsibly.
Vulnerability handling is treated as a continuous activity across the entire lifecycle of our products. Where a security update is required, it is made available together with the information needed to understand and address the issue. We disclose security-related vulnerabilities in our digital products transparently and in a comprehensible way at a central location.
